In a hundred-year-old wine cellar at the base of the Stellenbosch and Helderberg mountains, three adventurous men gathered. United by years of friendship and by a common dream, they chose to name their alliance, Legado, meaning legacy. For this is what they wanted to see established; a legacy of the finest roasted coffee beans, drawing on the beginning, when the black gold was first discovered in Ethiopia, to today. And to challenge and change the face of coffee trading, leaving a modern legacy of taste and experience.
